Using Excel 2007
Structured references also appear when you create a formula outside of an Excel table that references table data. The references can make it easier to locate tables in a large workbook. To include structured references in your formula, click the table cells you want to reference instead of.
I have created a two column Table so I can add to it in the future. Assigned name is Table4
I currently have this formula in a cell that does the Index / Match and brings in the right result.
My understanding is Index and Match can only look at one column.
Is there a way to replace the Ranges with Table4 in the formula?
Second question on this is the cell that has the formula is a Data Validation cell. So in the Refers To: box with =Table4 that also doesen't work.
Something tells me that I need to incorporate another formula.
